WPI Press Release regarding
the Islamic Republic of Iran's request for the extradition of PMOI leaders
17 April 2003
A spokesperson for the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that the regime is negotiating with relevant parties with regards to the extradition of leaders of the People's Mujahedeen Organisation of Iran (PMOI) and their denial of protection. The statement of the Islamic regime's representative is yet another confirmation of the collusion between the USA and its local mercenaries with the regime. The collusion is so extensive that the Islamic regime dares to demand the extradition of leaders of an opposition organisation. The Worker-communist Party of Iran (SPI) strongly condemns the USA and British government with the Islamic regime against its opponents. As far as the WPI is concerned, any military attack and pressure exerted by the USA and its local mercenaries against the Islamic regime's opposition stationed in Iraq is condemned. We hold the USA government and the United Nations responsible for the security of all opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran who are in Iraq.
